TerelI am 17 year old male from Maryland and I am mixed. My mom is Black and my day is White (Irish). Most of my life I've sort known I was mixed. I'm light skinned and for the most part I look like a very light skinned black person. I have been blessed in a way because both sides of my family accept and love me. I love being mixed, it gives me a totally different out look on life that many people could never handle. I haven't really faced racism although, just like most mixed people, I have seen some of the funniest faces from people when they meet my parents.
