Kendra I am a 31 year old 1/2 black - 1/2 white female from Texas and after reading some other personal stories, share the same feelings as many of you. I too have reached the age where I NEED to communicate with women like me. There are many obstacles for all women, but like many of you have stated we don't fit in totally. We have issues with both our black sisters and our white sisters. We have our own unique problems because we are unique! I would love to see a mixed women's club organize - imagine the looks!
This is a unbeliveable site and I think it is a blessing to us all. I remember as a child wishing there was an older biracial person for me to identify and relate to. But in my family as in most, me and my sister were the only mixed people. We received lots of love, and for the most part know both sides of our heritage.
