I am extremely happy on finding this wonderful site. I am a biracial 16 year old female. My Father is African American and My mother is French and Irish. I have never felt discriminated against by neither black or white people I have encountered. I live in Connecticut, USA and grew up among a bunch of different races and other mixed people. However because I am light skinned sometimes I do feel like some of my black friends don't consider me "truly black", but I have always felt accepted by white people. My father's mother and father both come from very well known respected African American families. The Harrison's and Bowman-Culler's of South Carolina, USA. I am very proud to be part of these wonderful noble black families.
