I am twenty-one years old,I go to local community college, and I live with my mother in Phoenixville,PA. Reasons why I want to join this group is so that I do not have to feel so alone. Being biracial is not easy for anyone, however this group addresses the issuses that I face, looking like I am white. Most people say that they can tell that I am biracial, however, I cannot tell when I look at other people. It is confusing to know where I fit in, and hopefully this will change. I have read some of the brief little stories pasted on this website, and I felt understood for the first time. It is comforting to know that other people feel the same way, and to know that there are many people like me in the world. I always knew that there were, I just never got to hear about some many of their lives. Lastly, I would like to say that I would never, ever change my life for one moment, and not because it is great. But because I like being biracial.
