Hi. I'm a 19 year old psychology major at the University of Florida. I am so glad to have stumbled across this site. My father is black Colombian and my mother is white American. I came out looking white. As much as I want to be involved with causes relating to my father's heritage, I feel like I'm never really accepted. I am on a minority scholarship, and people ask me all of the time " How did you get a minority scholarship?" It is really difficult for me, but I hope meeting others with the same problems will help me learn to cope.
