Hi! My name is Crystal, I am 20 years old, and am from Coumbia, South Carolina. I am biracial. My mother is white, and my father is black and American Indian. I came across this website by pure accident. I am attending college and had to write a research paper on my background,and stumbled onto this web site. I am very glad I did stumble upon this because I have been for a site to join that deals with these issues. I have alot of love and support around me, but I have noone that I can really talk to who can relate to some of the things I go through because of who I am. I really have trouble with being able to express who I know I am because people don't want to except me for bein biracial. They expect me to either be black or white, with no exceptions. I feel that I will be able to express my real feelings with people who know what I am going through that is why I chose to join this website. Thank You.
